
The Camps decor includes old trucks, motorcycles, scooters, campers, military vehicles, and even an old Dakota airplane. At the back of the market are a few more bars and restaurants. In the center is a food stall alley selling snacks. There’s also a great coffee-house full of vintage furniture & memorabilia. At the front of the market is a garden area with bench seating, food trucks, bars, and a stage that features occasional live music. The shops are in aircraft hangar-style garages, an arcade, and an open market area. The location is conveniently next to the MRT Kamphaeng Phet station and a couple of hundred meters from Chatuchak Weekend Market. It’s founded by the creators of the Train Night Market. The Camp vintage flea market is in the Chatuchak area of Bangkok. We are leaving this listing intact to see what happens in the future. Most markets in Bangkok have suffered from the COVID19 fallout. The vinyl record shop is still open as are a few of the vintage clothing shops. Pompano Cafe is still open in the daytime, Motor Butter and 1958 bar are open in the evening. The airplane has gone as has Rod’s, Smiths, and all of the train carriage restaurants at the back of the market.
